We invite you to our unique event in the Adirondack mountains. Challenge yourself and your horse over a unique course of beautiful varying terrain with optional checkpoints including: natural fences, stream crossings, lateral work, and a number of obstacles.... The Series was born out of of the cross - training program that we use to train young horses for balance, strength, and confidence necessary to build a strong foundation for any future discipline. Whether you are looking for a fun day of competition in a beautiful landscape, or are coming to introduce your green horse to a new experience as a confidence builder -- you will enjoy the ride and the people that come from all disciplines - English, Western, polo, TB exercisers... -who come to participate and volunteer.

COFFEE CLUTCH DRILL TEAM:
Informal Drill Sessions are a fun way to start your Saturday morning and to school your horse. Riders take turns calling patterns, and enjoy post ride coffee and pastry of course. We invite you to bring your favorite horse, or to join us if you are Leasing a RHF mount. Call the farm by Wednesday to let us know if you care to join us on the Saturday to follow. And remember..... you are always welcome to add a treat to the breakfast potluck table!

WHEN WE THINK OF SPRING, WE THINK OF NEW BEGININGS… SOME RIDERS HAVE ASKED US FOR A CLINIC TO INSTRUCT RIDERS TO LEARN TO TRAIN BABIES AND IMPROVE THEIR EARLY GROUNDWORK SKILLS. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ATTENDED OUR FALL CLINIC THAT INTRODUCED WORKING WITH THE LONGE (WITH AND WITHOUT SIDE REINS) AND LONG LINES FOR TRAINING; YOU WILL HAVE A REFRESHER, AND WILL BE WORKING WITH ONE OF OUR HORSES, OR IDEALLY YOUR OWN HORSE. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WERE UNABLE TO ATTEND OUR FALL CLINIC, WE WILL BE STARTING AT 10:00 FROM THE BEGINNING... WHETHER YOU ARE HOPING TO START A YOUNGSTER SOMEDAY, OR ADD THIS TO YOUR CURRENT REPETOIRE OF SKILLS… GROUNDWORK IS THE FOUNDATION FOR ANY WELL SCHOOLED HORSE. THE CLINIC IS HANDS ON AND LIMITED TO 8 PARTICIPANTS. CLINIC FEE IS: $70 AND INCLUDES LUNCH. (FOR RHF BOARDERS & LEASING STUDENTS: $60)

FOCUS ON GOOD COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR HORSE UNDER SADDLE AND ON THE GROUND. THE FORMAT OF THE CLINIC IS BACK TO BACK PRIVATE LESSONS TAILORED TO EACH RIDER’S INTERESTS. YOU CAN WORK IN HAND OR UNDER SADDLE. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT JOINED US IN ONE OF OUR TRAINING CLINICS, YOU WILL FIND THAT IT IS A WONDERFUL WAY TO LEARN. WE CAN OFTEN LEARN AS MUCH FROM WATCHING OTHERS WORK THROUGH ISSUES WITH THEIR HORSES, AS WE CAN LEARN IN OUR OWN LESSONS. THE CLINICS ARE SMALL, PERSONAL, AND OF COURSE….
